put my background photography

cut the unnecessary part

create back up

add vector mask

change it to red

use quick selection tool to cut my singer out

adjust the edge

use eraser and change the opacity to rub my background make the advertisement boards more clearly, because this the characteristic of HONG KONG. At the same time, I want to make some gradual change effect, and than put my singer to the background.

change the size make it suitable my design

make it bigger and put some word

but I think the background is very deep, so I added the vector mask to make it more lighter, and change my singer position.

and then, I make the shadow to my singer and make it in stand out from background.I use the drop shadow to add the shadow to my singer.

but I thought red is not very good, so I try to cancel the red colour.

and put the words to my cover.

but, it is not good, and i change the vector mask colour again, and make it look more integral. I use red because China and HONG KONG their representational colour is red, and red is means hot, fast, and ebullient.It is same like HONG KONG spirit.

and then, I adjust the opacity to make it deeper, I thought it is better.

I put some words on my cover

and try to find the best one.

finally, I decided to use Athelas Regular word.

adjust the position and use the eraser tool to rub the background.

This is my final design in front of my CD cover.

I put the song list and logo

and I put the bar code and change to another logo, because this one is better

make the canvas size bigger to be my flap.

make the color unify.

put the background photo in my back side, and reduce the opacity.

change new one photo.

use selection tool select it and command+J cut it out.

add some words and put it on the line.

cut the extra part out and reduce the opacity.

add the logo and do some adjust
